Still In Development, Despite Rumors
"The Last Guardian" by Team Ico (Developer of "Shadows of the Colossus" and "Ico") has been in development since 2007, and formally announced to the public in 2009. Since that time, it has suffered innumerable delays and setbacks and has passed by all it's set release dates (last set for 2011). The game is set around a boy trying to escape from a massive ruin while befriending a giant griffon-like creature named Trico. The player controls the boy, and uses the environment to get Trico to help him traverse the dangerous setting. Read more »
