To celebrate the recent release of “Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World” for the 3DS, Nintendo released a graphic of the game’s titular characters with 10 tips for celebrating National Love Your Pet Day on Feb. 20.
The graphic, titled “10 Ways to Celebrate National Love Your Pet Day,” offers the following tips:
Give your pets some extra love
Go on an adventure with your pet
Give your pet a special treat
Take your pet for a long walk
Let your pet sleep in your bed
Try something new with your pet
Give your pet a high five
Adopt a pet
Dress like your pet
Take a selfie with your pet
Nintendo is also encouraging pet owners to post their pet selfies on social media using the #Yoshi hashtag.
“Poochy and Yoshi’s Woolly World” released for the Nintendo 3DS on Feb. 3, alongside a yarn amiibo figure of Poochy. While the game is largely a port of the Wii U game “Yoshi’s Woolly World,” it also has features that are exclusive to the 3DS version.
