If you've been playing "Pokemon GO," you probably remember first starting off and being able to pick your starter Pokemon and expecting thatI Pokemon to be your strongest in no time - just like in the other games. Well, we all quickly learned that that was not the case at all and the starter Pokemon were some of the hardest ones to find, leaving that first Pokemon you picked to be the weakest in your team and probably doomed to Professor Willow's Candy Factory.
Well, coming out at some point this fall, Niantic has announced a new feature that will let you level up those rare Pokemon you have simply by walking around (just like you would when hatching an egg).
The next addition to Pokémon GO will be Buddy Pokémon. You will be able to pick your favorite Pokémon from your collection to become your buddy, opening up unique in-game rewards and experiences. Buddy Pokémon will appear alongside your Trainer avatar on your profile screen, adding helpful bonuses such as awarding Candy for walking together. You’ll also have the ability to change your Buddy Pokémon at any time.
