Anyone who has DM’ed a tabletop RPG can attest to the hours spent sketching out maps of swamps, town squares, and dungeon after dungeon in hopes of giving your players something to ground their pencil-and-paper adventures. Seeing the shape of the room and how far wide that chasm is intended to be is all well and good, but sometimes simply reading a monster description from the bestiary can’t quite do it justice.
The next time you sit down to your adventure consider POPULATING those sketches. Actual monsters to ambush and torment your unsuspecting heroes! Paizo’s Pathfinder Bestiary 5, released in November 2015, can now be supplemented with the Bestiary 5 Box. 211 unique creature stand-up pawns (more than 300 individual pawns) with size-appropriate plastic bases allow you to mix them in with any traditional metal or plastic miniatures that you might already have.
