We all know the story of “Little Red Riding Hood,” right? Maybe not. Like many fairytales, there are various elements of the story that change from region to region as the story is passed from one generation to another. With that thought in mind, the staff over at GRIN Gamestudio found inspiration for their game “Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries.”
This is not a fairytale. There's nothing fair about it. GRIN Gamestudio
A darker, grittier version of the tale that features a kickass, axe-wielding version of the titular character, “Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries” follows the tale of Red Riding Hood as she sets out to expose the truth of her father's death. Set against a backdrop of industrial greed and corruption, Red's taking no prisoners as she takes vengeance into her own hands. It promises to be a cinematic masterpiece of a platformer complete with complex puzzles and deranged fairytale bosses.
An undertaking of these proportions requires some serious backing so GRIN turned to crowdfunding to meet their financial needs. They are currently about $8,000 away from meeting their $50,000 goal with less than two weeks to go.
