Player Theory was started in Summer 2013 when its founder found himself unemployed. He had a knack for web development and a love of video games, and so an idea was born. We are a rag-tag group of game enthusiasts just like you! We’re all in our mid-20s-ish and have played a wide variety of games from NES to PS4. A lot has happened with gaming in our lifetimes so far, and we can’t wait to see what’s around the corner next. We pride ourselves on not succumbing to outside opinion or money influencing what we write about or how we score our reviews. We’re just a bunch of nerds with a passion.
