In a recent Windows Blog post for the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, Microsoft Vice President Yusuf Mehdi stated that all future Microsoft Xbox games published by them will be part of the Play Anywhere program.
With the Xbox Play Anywhere program, you can buy a game once and play on your Windows 10 PC and Xbox One with shared progress, shared game saves and shared achievements. Every new title published from Microsoft Studios will support Xbox Play Anywhere and will be easily accessible in the Windows Store. Yusuf Mehdi
This means that any Xbox game that is published by Microsoft, such as "Gears of War," "Forza," and "Halo," will be playable on PC (Windows 10). Whether this applies to third-party games, somewhat like the first "TitanFall" and EA, isn't known.
