Vice President of PR and Marketing for Bethesda, Pete Hines, announced via Twitter that Bethesda will not be making an appearance at Spike TV's VGX Awards.
This is likely addressing the latest round of speculation from gamers concerning a possible Fallout 4 announcement. Bethesda has not yet officially denounced the cryptic messages posted at thesurvivor2299.com which may suggest a continuation of the beloved Fallout franchise. While many are skeptical that this site is a genuine, previous reports of Bethesda location scouts prodding around Boston suggests a Fallout is likely in the works.
Those looking to check out the VGX Awards should point their browsers to Spike, Comedy Central, GameTrailers, BET, MTV, or MTV 2, as they will air live online only this Saturday, Dec. 14 at 6PM EST.
