"Black Cradle" is a mobile action game directed at adrenaline junkies. The game, is the ultimate in "one button action heroes," and promises a fast and fluid control system with an array of weaponry to fight and survive.
In the title you play Brian Cross, an action hero fighting his way through time in the pursuit of Victor Kahn, the time-traveling villain. Traveling through a wide range of historical locales, from the distant past to the dystopian future, you are to blaze a trail in the hunt for Khan as he seemingly seeks to unraveling the fabric of space and time.
"Black Cradle" promises that the bullets will fly, enemies will fall. and you’ll be going up against a world of soldiers, tanks, gunships and a future that could be a lot more bleak if you fail in your mission.
The development team, PG Universe, have taken to Kickstarter in order to push through the final stages of production. It’s a bold move as Kickstarter is not known for its support of the mobile gaming world, but PG Universe will be hoping to have an attractive and easily playable game which will bring in the one button gamers. With 33 days to go, they certainly have a long way to go in order to reach their target.
The team is based in the Shibuya neighbourhood of Tokyo, Japan. Comprised of both American and Japanese designers, PG Universe is keen to emphasize that they are willing to take risks and try something new while honouring their long tradition in gaming. The team have worked alongside giants like Konami, Capcom, and Sony Computer Entertainment, and their quality is apparent in their design work for "Black Cradle."
This is where "Black Cradle" really stands out from a lot of other mobile games. There has been a great deal of effort put into the art direction and design, the characters are fleshed out, and the world is as bright and colorful as any other war-torn battlefield or futuristic city scape.
