Nintendo announced their premium rewards for North American players who qualify for Platinum or Gold tiers.
Members who earn 300 coins or more between July 1 and June 30 qualify for Gold. Members who earn 600 coins in the same time frame earn Platinum. When players qualify for the specialized Club Nintendo status, they can choose a game to download for free:
Platinum Status
- “Game and Wario” for Wii U
- “NES Remix” for Wii U
- “Earthbound” for Wii U
- “Dr. Luigi” for Wii U
- “Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D” for 3DS
- “Fluidity: Spin Cycle” for 3DS
- “Dillon’s Rolling Western” for 3DS
- “Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move” for 3DS
Gold Status
- “Ice Climber” for Wii U
- “Kid Icarus” for Wii U
- “Super Mario Bros. ” for Wii U
- “Zelda II: The Adventure of Link” for Wii U
- “Donkey Kong 3” for 3DS
- “Wario Land 2” for 3DS
- “Metroid” for 3DS
- “Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins” for 3DS
Nintendo has previously lagged behind other companies like Sony in rewarding active members who spend a lot of time using their consoles. Unfortunately, they continue to do so by offering less than European and Japanese members, as well as offering no physical games.
