As stated on a Club Nintendo Program Notice, Club Nintendo will discontinue its services, officially end accounts and coins on July 1, 2015. However, there will be a new program that is in the works to replace Club Nintendo.
Any games past Jan. 20 will not be able to be redeemed for coins. The last day to earn coins and to sign up for Club Nintendo will be March 31. The last day to redeem rewards for coins will be June 30. All current Club Nintendo members and those who can still sign up before March 31 will receive a free code for "Flipnote Studio 3D" some time in Feb. 2015.
Club Nintendo will also be offering Elite Status for those who have earned 300 coins or more from July 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015. Elite Status give reward members with special gifts and downloadable games between April 1 to April 30.
