From Software released the first episode in a three-part series for smash hit “Dark Souls II,” a trilogy dubbed the “Lost Crown Trilogy,” at 9 AM this morning. The DLC arrived only a month after the initial announcement from the developer.
The first episode, “Crown of the Sunken King,” takes players through a fluctuating vision of Sanctum City. Players are required to manipulate their surroundings in order to complete the challenges the game’s landscape creates. Additionally, “Dark Souls II” expands with three new zones, as well as addition spells, items, and enemies.
“Dark Souls II” provides access to “Crown of the Sunken King” by clearing the Black Gulch and touching the statue snake. From there, characters are ported to the new content.
“Crown of the Sunken King” is available on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 for $9.99.
