Users of the PlayStation Network might experience difficulties logging in today. Most users will also notice that routine maintenance is scheduled for tomorrow, not today. This is due to yet another DDoS attack on the seevers, this time by a group called "The Lizard Squad." The group has also claimed to be the ones taking down Blizzard servers as well.
Sony has been quickly responding to everyones complaints, but at this time no ETA on resolution has been released. This is surprising, seeing as how back in 2011 the PSN was hit with the same type of attack and was down for quite some time. The previous attack was done by the group "Anonymous" and ended in a $15 million settlement.
So far there is no news of any customer information leaking with this attack, and let's hope it stays that way.
