Degica Games, the company behind the very popular game creation tool “RPG Maker,” recently announced that they will be releasing “RPG Creator” in the iTunes App Store on September 25.
“RPG Creator” will work with both the iPhone and iPad, allowing users to create games on the go without any programming experience. The game creation app will come with its own resources but also allows for custom assets to be uploaded. A debug tool is available for those who prefer to test their creations right away or make changes directly on a specific spot.
Aside from its mobility, “RPG Creator” also allows its users to upload and share their creations through Degica’s “Creator’s Web” Portal. This web portal serves as a host for games created through “RPG Creator” and gives users the option to download other people’s games.
“RPG Creator” will release with a free demo version and a paid premium version. It is currently not known whether an Android version is in the works.
