Yes, you read that right. The Falco amiibo, which is exclusive to Best Buy in North America, is exclusive to Blockbuster in Mexico.
To put this into perspective, Blockbuster, at least in North America, has went out of business due to rental services changing over the years. There are about 50 of the stores left in the world. Brazil, apparently, has the most Blockbusters still in existence, so that's where the exclusivity deal for Mexico comes into play. This is similar to the situation with Target closing stores in Canada, except Brazil having the few existing Blockbusters known.
Why Nintendo went to Blockbuster, an almost completely defunct company at this point, for amiibo exclusivity isn't known. The fact that there are Blockbusters still open is more impressive than anything else.
