Thanks to Jed Whitaker from Destructoid, he spotted some false advertising for "Mortal Kombat X's" Kombat Pack. What is included for the pack is four characters, Jason Voorhees, the Predator, Tanya, and Tremor, and several skins and costumes. However, it was presented as a season pass by many distributors, including a Xbox One card just for the Kombat Pack.
Whitaker was tipped off about this when Nicolas Jones sent Destructoid a statement about the Kombat Pack:
Thank you for your feedback. I understand your concern but the Kombat Pass is not a Season Pass, and it was not advertised as one. It includes the specific DLC listed here. WB Games
GameStop, for example, states "Get everything MKX has to offer" with the Limited Edition. That isn't the case as there are skins and costume packs that aren't included with the season pass, as well as any future DLC that Ed Boon himself is teasing. Goro, the pre-order incentive DLC character, also isn't included in the season pass.
