Rockstar has officially revealed the new first-person mode in their upcoming remastered version of "Grand Theft Auto V" via a hands-on demo with IGN.
It has been speculated that Rockstar would add a first-person mode back in September, when they listed it under a support page about the changes coming to this generation of consoles and PC. They deleted that page but have now come forward to officially announce it as an additional feature.
Having a first person mode required Rockstar to rebuild the animations and how the player interacts with the environment. Rockstar has created different animations for each of the playable characters when walking around, while also adding an audio and visual restriction via helmet when in a motorbike or helicopter.
Rockstar really is putting in a lot of effort into this new version, which releases on Nov. 18 for Xbox One and PS4. Sorry PC owners, you will have to wait until Jan. 27.
