With "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" going gold, Microsoft released some additional about the collection. This is a massive collection of data, totaling 45 GB on the Blu-ray disc. There's also an additional day one update that requiring an extra 20 GB totaling 65 GB for the full game.
Those expecting to jump right into the action shouldn't be worried though; the newswire post states that players will be able to start the campaign as the content installs. However, the Spartan Ops missions will be notably absent on launch and are coming to the collection via download in December.
"Halo: The Master Chief Collection" contains Master Chief's first four adventures in the "Halo" series: "Halo: Combat Evolved," "Halo 2," Halo 3," and "Halo 4," all of them remastered or updated with better graphics. The collection comes out Nov. 11 in North America on the Xbox One.
