Hideo Kojima and Sony has announced a partnership between the two, as Kojima also announces his new studio Kojima Productions, with a few members from the previous team while working at Konami.
It comes as a little surprising that Kojima is using the Kojima Productions title, as that was the production title for his team while he worked at Konami. In any case, Kojima announced that his employment contract with Konami has been terminated. He's teaming up with Sony to release his first game under his independent studio as a Playstation console exclusive while also releasing on PC.
What this new game is remains unknown, but it'll be a PlayStation 4/PC game. Guillermo del Toro has stated before that he would love to work Kojima once more, and in an interview with IGN, Kojima would like to work with del Toro as well, whether it's movie or game related.
