Polygon reported a source close to the outlet revealed the sequel to EA/Respawn Entertainment's "Titanfall" is not exclusive.
Publisher Electronic Arts has neglected to speak about the rumor, saying they "do not comment on speculation." While this announcement isn't officially confirmed, Respawn founder, Vince Zampella tweeted in October that Microsoft's exclusive rights were presently only for the first title.
In addition to exclusivity, Polygon's source also stated that EA has secured the publishing rights to following titles in the "Titanfall" franchise.
"Titanfall" is currently available for Xbox One and PC, and the Xbox 360 version is set for release April 8th in North America and April 11th in Europe. The title has seen tremendous commercial and critical success, all but securing it as the Xbox One's first flagship title.
