Announced on the Ultra-Combo website, Microsoft and Iron Galaxy Studios revealed that "Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition" will be coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 on September 20, 2016 for digital/retail release for $40.
This definitive version of the game includes all of the DLC released thus far for the 2013 iteration of "Killer Instinct," ranging from Season 1 to Season 3, that includes the guest characters such as Arbiter from "Halo," Rash from "Battletoads" and General RAAM from "Gears of War." The classic versions of "Killer Instinct 1 & 2" will also be included. New additional features include every song in the KI archives, character trailer, never-before-seen artwork, and more.
The retail versions of the game will include an original soundtrack CD and an exclusive skin: Gold Gargos.
