KOEI TECMO America announced yesterday that their upcoming game, “Attack on Titan,” will give players pre-order bonuses depending on where they purchase the game.
Those who place their pre-orders in Amazon, Best Buy, or GameStop / EBGames will receive two bonus costumes: “Cleaners Weapon and Costume” for Eren and Levi, and “Mikasa’s Festival Costume.” Meanwhile, those who purchase the game digitally via the PlayStation Store will receive avatars usable within the PlayStation Network. A bonus for Steam users has not yet been announced.
Aside from pre-order bonuses, KOEI TECMO America also revealed two new trailers, showcasing important gameplay mechanics. The videos, aptly titled “Battle System: Part 1” and “Battle System 2,” explain the importance of equipment maintenance, battle tactics, and team play mechanics. The gameplay shown within the two videos are based on the Japanese PlayStation 4 version of the game, which was released in February of this year.
“Attack on Titan” will be releasing on Aug. 30 for North America. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will receive a physical release of the game, while PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita will have a digital release in the PlayStation Store. A PC version of the game will also be available via Steam.
