With the success of "Hyrule Warriors" and "Dragon Quest Heroes," it's fairly safe to say that developer Koei Tecmo has had a lot of luck recently by taking beloved IPs and putting them into "Dynasty Warrior-isque" games - pitting a few heroes against thousands of enemies. Well, now, they plan on taking that popular formula and tossing in as many things as they can into it, creating "Musuo Stars."
Already, we're seeing characters from "Ninja Gaiden," "Toukiden," "Atelier Sophie," and "Dead or Alive." Given how early this is in the development process and just how many IPs that Koei Tecmo has access to, we are bound to see a lot more added to the "Musuo Stars" mix. I would not mind seeing some familiar facecs from the Monster Rancher series jumping into battle here.
"Musuo Stars" is due for release in Japan next year on PS4 and Vita. Given the popularity of most Koei Tecmo games in the West, we're likely to see a European/North American release at some point after that.
