Reported by Kotaku, a Konami representative accepts the award for "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" at the PlayStation Awards ceremony instead of the game's director Hideo Kojima.
"Metal Gear Solid V" won the awards for User's Choice Award and the Platinum Prize. In the past, Kojima has been present at these awards, including last year when "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" won an award. Instead, the head of Konami PR took the stage to accept the award. Where Kojima is at this time isn't known and it isn't quite known if he'll appear for The Games Award in Los Angeles.
