A new trailer for the upcoming "LEGO Dimensions" game was released today - one featuring almost too much fan-service. Following the same general formula as "Skylanders," "Disney Infinity" or "Amiibos," players will be able to purchase special LEGO sets and then, using a special 'portal,' they can bring the set into the game and play with them there.
The following trailer largely features a certain popular Doctor - the character's first appearance in a LEGO game...or as an official LEGO piece period.
A very interesting scene in the trailer (besides the bit where the Doctor and Doc Brown were standing back to back), is the part where the characters are clearly in a Test Chamber from the Portal series - another first for LEGO.
LEGO Dimensions is due for release on September 27th of this year, and will be available on Playstation 3, Playstation 4, XBox 360, XBox One and Wii U.
