Following the digital release of "Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure" on the 3DS eShop and Steam, publisher Mastiff is now looking to crowdfund a physical version of the game.
While a Kickstarter date has not been announced yet, Mastiff has created a page over at Prefundia in order to inform potential backers. Prospective backers can pledge as low as $1 all the way up to $500, with rewards ranging from digital wallpapers, art prints, digital game keys, and physical versions of the PC game. Higher pledge tiers also feature a limited and numbered “Legendary Drill Edition” of the game. Actual goal amount is currently unknown at this time.
A stretch goal for the campaign is also being teased, with the 3DS version being one of the goals.
“Gurumin” was initially released in North America as a PlayStation Portable game back in February 2007, and was rereleased for PC players worldwide back in March 2015. 3DS owners got the chance to play the game on their handheld when it was released as an eShop title in October 2016. Developed by Nihon Falcom, "Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure" is an action role-playing game starring a young girl named Parin.
Fans who wish to back the project can enter their e-mail address over at the game’s Prefundia page.
