It started as tiny robots fighting inside a giant clockwork machine, it evolved into a battle to the death across ancient Mexico. The world of “Mayan Death Robots” is on the brink of oblivion as the aforementioned death robots blow the ever loving life out of the forests and jungles in a battle to the death. The ancients of Sileni Studios predicted with great accuracy that the full force of the killer alien robots would be unleashed today, Friday Nov. 20, via Steam.
“Mayan Death Robots” is about conflict and on the grandest scale, the very world quakes at their presence as Spanish conquistadors and Mayan citizens avoid, or at least try to avoid certain doom. You're stuck between a rock and a giant metal fist. Choose your robot, and launch into action in a series of Mayan-themed scenes for one-on-one versus battles in local multiplayer, or go head to head with the alien AI. The game does not currently support online multiplayer.
Mayan Death Robots is all about the artillery, although its strapped to the body of a giant invading alien killing machines. Pick a robot from the roster and enter the arena to destroy your opponent’s power core. Aim your weapon before the timer runs out, and don’t be distracted by the pretty scenery. It’s a balance of attack a defence as you’ll have to choose whether to reposition, continue your assault or build barricades to protect you and your core.
We designed this game to be most fun played with a friend in local multiplayer, so I really recommend you do that if you can. You can play against the AI and have a great time, but you’ll get the experience we wanted to give if you concentrate on knocking the crap out of a friend within close cursing distance. Enjoy!
