In a bit of good news from Konami, "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" for the PC has been pushed up to release on September 1 alongside the console versions.
In addition to "Metal Gear Solid V" being available to pre-order on Steam, those pre-orders will net people a free copy of "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes."
It should be noted, however, that "Metal Gear Online," the multiplayer portion of the game, has been delayed on all platforms. For the consoles, the multiplayer is now scheduled to release on October 6. The PC version of the multiplayer is set to come out sometime in 2016.
While this is good news for PC users, it should also be noted that there have been some shoddy PC versions of games lately, which includes "Assassin's Creed: Unity," "Watch_Dogs," "Mortal Kombat X," and most recently "Batman: Arkham Knight," which the season pass has been delayed until the PC port has been fixed properly. Whether or not "Metal Gear Solid V" bucks the trend is to be seen, but there isn't any evidence to suggest any problems as of now.
