Just a short time after revealing their new website, Focus Home Interactive has graced us with some forbidden knowledge about the new Lovecraftian-themed title.
"Call of Cthulhu" is going to be an adaption of the popular tabletop game of the same name. The gameplay will force the player to rely on stealth in order to survive whatever horrors that will be thrown at them in "semi-open environments." It is being developed on the Unreal Engine 4, and we already have a few screenshots to look at and they are definitely dripping with atmosphere.
Focus Home Interactive revealed some information regarding the story of the game in a press release today:
Developed by seasoned studio Cyanide, Call of Cthulhu is an RPG-Investigation game with psychological horror and stealth mechanics, set in a deeply immersive world.
