Warner Bros. Games has announced their "Game of the Year" edition for "Mortal Kombat X" called "Mortal Kombat XL."
"XL" will include everything new as of March 1, 2016, when it releases. That's nine DLC characters, a whole bunch of costumes, new fatalities (such as stage fatalities), and more. Whether there'll be more content following the Kombat Pack 2 isn't known, or if "XL" is the truly definitive version of the game.
On the Test Your Might community thread, a community specialist from NetherRealm Studios confirmed that "Mortal Kombat XL" and Kombat Pack 2 is only coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, skipping the PC all together.
This piece of news follows horrendous several months ago when WB Games launched major titles for the PC for "Mortal Kombat X" and "Batman: Arkham Knight." Following the launches (which Steam had conveniently allowed refunds just a little before the release), it may seem that WB Games are distancing themselves from the PC.
