Appearing on the Spanish PlayStation Blog, Sony released an early teaser for a new upcoming game.
The teaser is called "Emagon," which doesn't state exactly what the game is. Interestingly, the teaser is an anagram for several things, mostly nonsense, but one phrase sticks out: "Game on." Spelling "Emagon" backwards reads "no game," which seems more cryptic of what this teaser actually represents.
The teaser roughly translates to 20 years (which also happens to be 20 years of PlayStation) of what either an unseen character or the player has done and accomplished and that this time it (whatever it is) is in "your" hands. No context has been given, but more information will be revealed either through The Game Awards (previously titled Video Game Awards, VGA) and/or the PlayStation Experience event Dec. 5 and Dec. 6-7 respectively. Similarly, this kind of marketing has been done with "P.T.," which turned out to be a playable teaser for the upcoming "Silent Hill" game.
Stay tuned to Player Theory this weekend for PlayStation Experience coverage.
