Atlus announced the North American release date for "Persona 5." It'll launch on February 14, 2017- just in time for Valentine's Day.
Why the large gap between the Japanese release and the North American release? It could be because of localization processes needed to smooth everything out.
In addition to the release date, some special editions of the game have been announced. The "Take Your Heart" edition comes with a collector's box, hardcover art book, soundtrack CD, steelbook case with the game, a Morgana plush, and a themed school bag at $89.99. The steelbook case will also be in limited quantities, presumably for those who get the game day-one. These two editions, however, are PlayStation 4 exclusive.
