The Pokemon Company and Nintendo has revealed some new forms for old Pokemon along with new features coming to "Pokemon Sun and Moon."
These new forms are called Alola Forms, the name coming from the new island region. For example, Exeggutor receives a new palm tree aesthetic, Vulpix, Sandshrew, Ninetales, and Sandslash receive new ice forms (Ninetales is also fairy and the Sandshrew family also has steel). Other new Pokemon shown off include a donkey-like Pokemon called Mudbray, Gumshoos the evolved form of Yungoos, and more.
The Trial system was also showcased, where Trial Captains have you complete certain tasks so you can progress further and presumably get stronger. A new move for certain Pokemon types was also highlighted: Z-Movies. These are based on the type of your Pokemon (Gigavolt Havoc for Electric, Inferno Overdrive for Fire, etc.) that act more like Limits/Overdrives/etc. from RPGs like "Final Fantasy."
"Pokemon Sun & Moon" are set to release on Nov, 18 for the Nintendo 3DS.
