Major Nelson announced the date for what is called the New Xbox One Experience.
Coming November 12, 2015, all Xbox One owners (assuming you update it) will have their user interfaces completely overhauled and backward compatibility will be added for a select number of Xbox 360 games. Some of the known games that are supported by backward compatibility, whether through the disc or download, include "Fallout 3," the "Gears of War" series, "Just Cause 2," "Mass Effect," "Borderlands," and several others, including most of the Rare titles that you may see in "Rare Replay."
