The Nintendo Direct for Nov. 5 is over, and they revealed some important and surprising information. "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" has been officially revealed, heading to the 3DS in Spring 2015 just like "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" appeared on the system.
"Code Name: S.T.E.A.M" revealed more gameplay and character designs, as well as a collaboration with "Fire Emblem" developer Intelligent Systems.
"Ultimate NES Remix" showed off some more features for the 3DS version, as in leaderboards.
"Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker" has over 70 levels to explore with Captain Toad and Toadette with several challenges included.
"Mario Kart 8" Mute City from "F-Zero" and Hyrule-based tracks revealed. This Direct is the first time Link is shown with Gameplay. Amiibo figures can work with "Mario Kart 8" for costumes for the Miis based on the figures used, as in a Mario suit for the Mario figure. The DLC comes out Nov. 13.
"Kirby and the Rainbow Curse" has new information with gameplay, playing similarly to "Kirby Canvas Curse." Co-op is included, but additional players act regularly as Waddle Dees. It also has amiibo compatibility.
"Hyrule Warriors" is amiibo-compatible too, as Link gets a new weapon, the spinner, by scanning the Link figure.
"Super Smash Bros. for Wii U" revealed Duck Hunt as the next new playable character in its lineup and a new stage based on the game "Duck Hunt." The original game "Duck Hunt" is also heading to the Virtual Console.
Several indie games were showed off, such as "Shovel Knight," "The Swapper," and "Shantea: Half-Genie Hero" through Indie Game Revolution to help developers grow. They will also release demos and themes for the 3DS soon.
"Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" has some Nintendo-themed content, such as "Super Mario Bros." mushrooms and Mario & Luigi dressed cats.
"Pikmin Short Movies" were shown to be available on the 3DS and Wii U for $4.99. There will also be a "Pikmin 3" demo available with Miiverse events coming soon.
"Xenoblade Chronicles X" had more gameplay shown, such as material collecting and fighting. The developers are aiming for a massive RPG feel (not MMO styles).
"Splatoon" has a new trailer available showing off new enemies players will fight (other than other players) in what appears to be a singleplayer mode.
