Nintendo announced that the Nintendo NX will be launching next year in March 2017. In terms of E3 presence, Nintendo is saying that they won't be covering it. Whether that means at all or it won't be a main focus isn't known.
Nintendo also announced that "The Legend of Zelda" title for the Wii U has been delayed again. It'll launch sometime in 2017, presumably when the NX launches, alongside an NX version. Nintendo states that there's going to be a good focus on this "Legend of Zelda," whereas this game will be the only playable Wii U (and presumably only Nintendo title as well) at E3.
