After dozens of teaser trailers and game-play demos, Hello Games has finally provided us a release date for the highly-anticipated sci-fi game "No Man's Sky!" Well, it's more of a release "window" but it's better then a nebulous "sometime in the future"- and that window is June of 2016.
For those not in the know, "No Man's Sky" is a game where you have control of a ship and a vast universe to explore, and in that universe you have procedurally-generated planets, each with their own fauna and flora. When Hello Games says "universe," they mean it because the game universe includes 18 quintillion worlds and you can explore them all. On top of that, you can materials to build new equipment, upgrades and purchase new ships that let you venture out deeper into the unknown.
We expect to have an official release as we get close to next summer, but for now, we can expect to have access to "No Man's Sky" in June of 2016. "No Man's Sky" will release on PC and Playstation 4 platforms.
