tinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik recently revealed on his company’s blog that Bread Team’s “Phantom Trigger” will be releasing on Steam and Switch on August 10.
Developed by the two-man team of Bread Team, “Phantom Trigger” is described as a “hardcore neon slasher with RPG and roguelike elements.” It has a branching story with four alternative endings, a combat system with a focus on combos and weapon upgrades, and local co-op. tinyBuild is currently estimating the gameplay to be about seven hours long.
“To say that the development of the game was difficult is an understatement,” Nichiporchik wrote on the blog after reminiscing about the game’s development journey. He also recalled about how the two folks behind Bread Team ended up having to relocate, with one of them getting affected with the war in East Ukraine.
“Phantom Trigger” will be available for purchase on Steam and the Switch eShop for $14.99.
