"Planet Coaster" (currently available for pre-order on Steam), is calling itself "the most sophisticated park simulation in gaming history" and today, they treated us to a rather impressive 30-second gameplay trailer. Check it out below:
Just from the trailer, the game is looking gorgeous - a similar cartoon-y style as the "Roller Coaster Tycoon" games use, but definitely taken up a few notches. I don't think I ever cared about a sunset in a "Roller Coaster Tycoon" game, but I was really awed by the one that I saw in this "Planet Coaster" trailer. The game also seems to be bringing a lot of management aspects to the table, giving the player the ability to see exactly what their customers want and then react accordingly.
"Planet Coaster" is set for release on November 17th of this year. If you pre-purchase the "Thrillseeker Edition" on Steam, though, you will be given instant Beta access.
