When I first heard of "Planet Coaster," I was pretty excited. The game looked gorgeous. The gameplay seemed fun and rewarding. As a fan of the "Roller Coaster Tycoon" series, it looked familiar, but at the same time, definitely it's own, unique game. One thing did concern me, however. In the "Roller Coaster Tycoon" games, while getting a park running and self-sufficient was rewarding, I spent many an afternoon crafting the perfect roller coaster that would send carts catapulting into the sky or shooting into crowds like they were coming from a railgun. So far, I had not seen anything in the way of coaster destruction in "Planet Coaster."
Until the developers released this new trailer that beautifully demonstrates that the game does indeed allow for a little bit of roller coaster-powered chaos.
Because, sometimes, at the end of a hard day, you really need to just to launch a roller coaster into a crowded street.
"Planet Coaster" is set for release on November 17th of this year on the PC.
