No doubt to capitalize on the popularity of "Pokemon Go" and the coming-soon "Pokemon Sun/Moon," Nintendo has announced that the cult classic "Pokemon Snap" will be arriving on the Wii U Virtual Console this week.
Originally released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64, in "Pokemon Snap" you play a Pokemon photographer trying to capture the absolute best images of Pokemon in the wild. As the player, you're on rails moving through different environments as random Pokemon appear, or respond to you using different items (like apples for bait, or Poke-Flutes to hatch eggs etc). The goal was the photograph all 151 Pokemon and get the highest score possible for the images.
