NeoGAF captured screenshots of trademarks filed for "Pokemon Moon & Sun."
The titles were, of course, filed by Nintendo with their supposed title logos. That, however is the only thing know about these two supposed games. New legendary Pokemon could correspond to the moon and sun respectfully and rival each other, such as the case with "Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire." With that speculation, there could also be a "Pokemon Earth" for that third title for each game, though that's completely wild speculation.
This trademark filing comes just a day before the Nintendo Direct just for Pokemon. We may have found out what the Pokemon Company is planning to celebrate the 20th anniversary for the series, but there could also be more surprises. "Pokemon Moon & Sun" could very well be games for the future and there are other games planned for the Nintendo Direct, so we won't know until February 26, 2016 at 10am EST.
