"Prey 2" has been officially cancelled by Bethesda vice president Pete Hines.
While Hines could not confirm the length of the cancellation, he did say that "Prey" still had "a cool universe worth exploring." He went on to say that the game just wasn't meeting their standards and that this decision wasn't an easy one.
Bethesda announced "Prey 2" in 2011 being produced by Human Head Studios. Sticking to the first person shooter with a sci-fi element, the game placed you in the shoes of a bounty hunter named Killian Sanders. The game came so far as to see a trailer but continued to get pushed back and delayed.
Sadly, we may never see a sequel to "Prey."
