As reported by Eurogamer, those who pirate "Quantum Break" will be punished by putting eyepatches on protagonist Jack.
Hilariously the anti-pirating act seems to only put the eyepatch on Jack and nothing else. Gameplay and dialogue doesn't seem to change and it acts more like a costume.
On note, this was trigged when logging out of the Windows Store, as there isn't any cracked copies floating out in the wild yet. The eyepatch seems to be more of a DRM trick than trying to punish pirating.
This isn't the first time Remedy did this, as they put an eyepatch on the titular Alan Wake. Personally an actual pirate costume would be a cute thing to have in "Quantum Break," though that's up for debate (and possible future DLC).
