After several months of speculation, rumors, and an accidental release/pull of the game, Major Nelson announced that one of highest fan-requested games "Red Dead Redemption" will be coming the Xbox One via backward compatibility this Friday, June 8.
"Red Dead Redemption" follows games such as both "Left 4 Dead 1 & 2," "Borderlands," "Assassin's Creed 1 & 2," tons of Microsoft first-party games like "Halo Reach," the "Gears of War" series, and many more. One of the more heavily-requested games, "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" is speculated to release sometime in the near future. The "BioShock" series was also stated to be coming, but with "BioShock: The Collection" coming out in September for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, backward compatibility might not happen.
