"Resident Evil 6" is going to get some more back-story with a new manga series translated into English.
Titled "Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire," this prequel series (which has five installments released already in Japan) will explore how people are transforming into monsters set in a Singapore school. Chris Redfield, one of the main characters of the series, is also set to appear as the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (B.S.A.A.) is sent in to investigate.
The video game "Resident Evil 6" centers around returning characters Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, Sherry Birkin, and Ada Wong as the C-Virus is unleashed to induce bioterrorism. Focused more on action than its horror roots, "Resident Evil 6" implements some co-op elements as Chris, Leon, and Sherry team up with Piers Nivans, Helena Harper, and Jake Muller respectfully to survive the monsters set against them.
