Retro-Bit announced recently that their newest retro-focused console, RES Plus, will release on August 10 for $39.99.
RES Plus is a small top-loading device capable of playing NES games with a 720p output and HDMI compatibility. Sporting a black overall design with red accents, RES Plus has two controller ports, HDMI and AV ports, and a micro USB port for power supply. The device will be packaged with a 6-foot HDMI cable, as well as two 6-foot wired classic controllers. These controllers are also compatible for use with the original NES. Those who are interested can preorder the device at Amazon.
Retro-Bit is a company established in 2007, focusing on creating devices that can play NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis games at low prices.Their first console, called “The Retro Entertainment System,” was released back in 2008. They also make other accessories such as controllers and cartridge adapters.
