There are two things that Blizzard is really good at - making seemingly immortal MMORPGs and make cinematics that are on par with any top-tier movie studio. Its for this reason that I have hope for the "World of Warcraft" movie that is coming out this summer. It is also the reason why when they release a new short featuring a character from a game, I watch it as soon as I can. Especially for a game like "Overwatch."
Blizzard recently released the second of their "Overwatch" character intros - this one featuring the ruthless sniper Widowmaker, and guest starring the iconic Tracer. This short is titled: "Alive."
I don't feel like I'm alone when I say that I kinda hope Blizzard starts an "Overwatch" tv show with this type of quality.
These intro videos may be following the same path that Valve started with their "Meet The ___" video series, which means we might see a cinematic for each of the characters in "Overwatch."
If you missed it, the first cinematic Blizzard released for "Overwatch" featured Winston, the super intelligent (and super big) gorilla scientist. It is titled: "Recall."
"Overwatch" is set for release on May 24th of this year on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
