Today, Game Workshop graced us with another "in-engine cinematic" detailing another leader in a faction. This time, the focus was on the Dwarves and High King Thorgrim Grudgebearer.
In the lore, Thorgrim Grudgebearer is the keeper of the Dammaz Kron- the Great Book of Grudges. In the book, there are pages and pages of misdeeds committed against the Dwarven race. Thorgrim carries the tome into battle with him, because he feels that it is his duty to make sure that the enemies of the Dwarves are held accountable for past misdeeds. It also gives him quick access in case he needs to add another name to the seemingly never-ending list.
Also revealed in the trailer, we get confirmation that "Total War: WARHAMMER" will have maps for the Underworld, the subterranean realm of the Warhammer setting. We can probably expect that the maps will have two tiers, allowing armies to march in the World, descend into the Underworld, and later emerge at some other location - either for an ambush or just cutting down on overworld travel time. Either way, the two tier worldmap opens the game up for a variety of interesting strategies.
There has been no official release date set yet for "Total War: WARHAMMER" but it is expected sometime before the end of 2015.
