*UPDATE* "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood" was announced at the Sony Presentation at Paris Games Week for PlayStation VR. This seems to match up with the rumor originally post by Destructoid.
According to Destructoid, they received an email from a confirmed independent source (in this day of age, it is important to note that confidential/unknown sources can easily be wrong) which told them that DLC for the horror game "Until Dawn" is being made titled "Rush of Blood."
Well you get transported around inside a mine cart; it's very literally an on-rails experience. There are a few scattered jumpscares, as you'd expect, but I played the same 20 minute section twice (once with DS4, once with dual Move controllers), so I'm hoping the full DLC is a lot more padded out. I didn't see which character I was playing as, I'm not sure if it's specified, but no names were mentioned at all.
It starts off shooting targets in the snow, then moves toward a house and as you get deeper into the house, enemies start appearing (I believe they were Wendigos). The frequently reused jumpscare is the 'ghost' from inside the house in Until Dawn, who you end up fighting for the final area I played. Upon killing the ghost, the game would crash every time.
It's hard to take from what this testing entails, as this is only a rumor. If there is DLC for the game, no information is available on how far along development is. The segment seems rather odd, as it heavily relies on first-person shooting and motion controls. However, this segment could be a psychological trick on the player, as there were some of those scattered throughout "Until Dawn." Player Theory will update if Sony/Supermassive Games makes an official announcement and/or reveal.
